Listservs or
Forums
http://www/ume.maine.edu/ECEOL-L/ I found the discussion on this listserv to be very educational.   The discussions all revolved around educational topics that are currently happening in our school systems.  The pieces were informative as well as quite interesting.   The listserv e-mailed me frequently with wonderful comments. This is one listserv to join. I also really likes how the listserv explained what they were about as well as listing a full range of archives to review.
http://list5.internet.com/scripts/lyris.pl I really would not recommend this listserv.  Even though I liked how a subscriber could chose how many times they would like to be e-mailed, I found the e-mails were not very informative and often did not relate to one another.  This listserv seemed to be set up by an individual rather than an a reputable organization

Projects
http://www.eduplace.com/projects/weather5.html  I really like this site because it is on-going and because it is affiliated with my school's reading series.  Students from all grade levels are given pre-made lessons and activities that focus on the weather.  After doing the activities the students submit their findings to the site.
http://www.cyberbee.com/pcg/ This is a wonderful project where students can write and receive postcards from all over the world.  Students will learn about the wonderful uses of technology, learn about different cultures, and gain new friendships.  This is an exciting project that I think students of all ages will enjoy.
http://forum.swarthmore.edu/ruth/elem.pow.html I love this project! Students are given a problem of the week and they must try to solve it.  Teachers may select appropriate grade level, then the select an area that they are studying, and then even select the ability level.  The answers are posted at the end of the week. I love how students can even pose the problems.
Search Tools
http://www.about.com/  When entering this search engine you will find a variety of topics to narrow your search. After narrowing your search (for example: education) you will find a search box and a list of several links that may be of interest.  This is a great search engine for teachers. I found that the search results lead you straight to the subject areas that you are searching for.
http://www.awesomelibrary.org/  I really liked this website because it was for kids.  Sometimes I find that students to not know the wording to use in the search boxes and therefore find a search frustrating. This site offers many links to several topics and subjects that a students may be looking for. I found it kid friendly and I give it a thumbs up.
http://cybersleuth-kids.com/  At first this website seems to be teacher oriented, but once you enter the search I found that the search request were very student friendly.  The search results provided links to websites that were informative and most of the websites met the standards on The good, the bad and the Ugly. I found this search engine on a wonderful site: http://www.ivyjoy.com/rayne/kidssearch.html
Lesson Plan
Sources
http://www.atozteacherstuff.com/  I love this website! This was a website created for teachers by teachers. You can easily access appropriate grade level and topic lesson plans, as well as find thematic units.  I loved the helpful tip links.  Most of all I loved how you could easily navigate through this site and quickly find lesson plans that fit the topic you are searching for. I am going to bookmark this one!
http://www.forlessonplans.com/  I found another great website for teacher lesson plans.  This site offers lesson plans that were submitted by teachers and allows you to submit your own lesson plan ideas. It is like a teacher trading post. Almost all subjects were found here.  I liked how this site even had computer lesson plans.  I really found that I could use this site and I found it easy to follow.  This site however, did not offer as many resources as http://www.atozteacherstuff.com/.
Data Sets or
Online Tools
http://klnlive.com/kln/ I have found a wonderful on-line tool and learning experience.  This site links you to the most popular and useful on-line help tools.  The navigation through this site is easy and fun for students. Student can receive help by playing fun tutoring math games or learning about how money is made. Wow! What a find!
http://www.gifworks.com/ Imagine taking a graphic and editing it to fit your needs. Well you can in this site. Enjoy manipulating graphics and inserting them into your web pages.
